Home Progress: Kitchen Pendants & Breaking Ground

I loved reading all your pendant light picks and I don’t think I could have gone wrong with any of the choices, but I landed on the iconic midcentury shape of . Now just to bite the bullet and find a fixture for over the dining table!

I also added a vintage bar cart to the room and am thinking I might re-paint the upper cabinets to the same shade of green as the bottom (I never thought I could have too much white but I think I’m getting dangerously close).

pattern spy: marbled

I just ordered  (I can’t wait to get my hands on it), and I am seriously contemplating that dress and that pillow. This  is pretty amazing too. How much marble is too much marble? I can’t stop!

from the weekend: holiday recovery

It was hard saying goodbye to the midwest winter wonderland but I can say I am pretty pleased that we are missing out on the crazy that are hitting there this week. (I mean -50 degree wind chill? no thank you). We spent the weekend slowly de-christmasing our house, brunching at a , and and snuggling with our much missed pups.

Hope you had a lovely weekend.
